Joint Promotions - Marketing Your Business Smartly

If you are looking to reduce your marketing expenses and increase your business enquiries you may want to consider is the trusty old "Joint Promotion". joint promotions, small business owners, small business advice, business forums, business blog

A joint promotional strategy is where you team up with another business that shares the same target market as you and you market to them together. Thereby sharing the advertising costs 50/50.

This strategy is for businesses who have complimentary services to one another and there products and services are not competing.

For example;

An image consultant and hairdresser may share the costs of creating flyers in which each business is promoted either side.

Their services are complimentary. Anyone who is getting their hair cut may indeed by interested in having an image consultant look at their wardrobe and vice versa.

A joint promotion has no limit as to how it can be done, it's only limited by your creativity. You may even consider teaming up with other small business owners to create;

  • Calendars
  • Promotional dvd's or cd's
  • Flyers/tickets
  • Competitions
  • Share expo stands

Who could you potentially establish a joint promotional strategy with?

Until next time
